They first visited the country two years ago on a&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><span class=\"TextRun SCXW67265598 BCX0\" lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\" data-contrast=\"none\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW67265598 BCX0\">short&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><span class=\"TextRun SCXW67265598 BCX0\" lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\" data-contrast=\"none\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW67265598 BCX0\">trip with KFS, the IFES movement in Denmark.<\/span><\/span><span class=\"TextRun SCXW67265598 BCX0\" lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\" data-contrast=\"none\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW67265598 BCX0\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><span class=\"TextRun SCXW67265598 BCX0\" lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\" data-contrast=\"none\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW67265598 BCX0\">They wondered if God was calling them there<\/span><\/span><span class=\"TextRun SCXW67265598 BCX0\" lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\" data-contrast=\"none\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW67265598 BCX0\">.<\/span><\/span><span class=\"EOP SCXW67265598 BCX0\" data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:2,&quot;335559685&quot;:374,&quot;335559739&quot;:120,&quot;335559740&quot;:240,&quot;335559991&quot;:187}\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block block-core-quote\">\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p> \u201cI could just feel my heart hammering for Greenland and the Greenlandic people\u201d, Sara said.&nbsp; <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Supported by KFS Denmark,&nbsp;<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">Sara and Filip&nbsp;<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">are now preparing to move to Nuuk, the capital city<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">&nbsp;and&nbsp;<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">home to t<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">he only university in the country. Students from other cities must travel by boat or plane to get there. They see their families only once or twice a year<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">.&nbsp;<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">Homesickness is one of the biggest social problems for young people. On top of that, s<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">tudents must study in Danish, their second language<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">&nbsp;\u2013<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">&nbsp;so u<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">niversity can be a very challenging time<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:2,&quot;335559685&quot;:374,&quot;335559739&quot;:120,&quot;335559740&quot;:240,&quot;335559991&quot;:187}\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">The spiritual climate is challenging too. Traditional beliefs are centred around evil spirits and the&nbsp;<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">spirits of the&nbsp;<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">dead. Today 98% of Greenlanders say they are Christians, but 50% say they still practise traditional religion<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">&nbsp;as well<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">. Few people know what the Bible says or how to be in a relationship with God.
