Many people today are crying out for better\nleaders, and better models of leadership \u2013 in the university, in the church and\nin society. We all long for leaders of integrity, wisdom and vision.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

Through student groups, national movements\nand regional events, IFES is investing in student leaders all over the world: giving\nstudents in Nepal tools to lead a Bible study; training students in Australia\nto deliver an evangelistic talk; equipping students in the Middle East to reach\nout to their Muslim friends.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

And it doesn\u2019t end there. We want to see these\nstudents grow into lifelong disciples of Christ, and to become leaders of\nintegrity and vision in their lives beyond university. That\u2019s why IFES is\ncommitted to supporting its graduates as they move into the workplace, into\nchurch leadership and into society.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

Global Leadership Initiative<\/strong><\/strong><\/h1>\n<\/div>\n\n
\n

We want IFES leaders to be empowered\nto lead with creativity, discernment and godliness. In such a\nfast-changing world, navigating the\ncomplexities of cross-cultural campus ministry is a huge\nchallenge. The Global Leadership Initiative is a development program for\nyoung staff involved in leading IFES national movements. It aims to\nidentify and develop leadership potential within the global IFES network. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

Graduate Impact<\/strong><\/h1>\n<\/div>\n\n
\n

For the\nyoung Christian fresh out of university, the working world can be a challenging\nenvironment. Many are confronted with situations they\u2019ve not encountered\nbefore: ethical dilemmas, office gossip, financial decisions, and little or no\nChristian fellowship.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

\n

Graduate\nImpact supports young Christian adults across Europe and Eurasia as they\ntransition from university to work. It provides training conferences and\non-going mentoring networks to help these young professionals mature into\neffective disciples for Jesus in their workplaces, professions and societies.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

IFES Scholarships<\/strong><\/h1>\n<\/div>\n\n
\n

Each\nyear IFES provides a number of partial scholarships for those training for\nChristian ministry as well as those being trained in particular areas of expertise,\nsuch as leadership skills, evangelism and learning new languages.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

\n

An IFES\nscholarship helped one staff member from Russia gain a deeper understanding of\nthe Bible and develop his skills in preaching. A staff member from Ghana\nlearned about engaging with those from other faith backgrounds, particularly\nAfrican traditional religions. Another staff member from South Sudan was\ntrained in Christian counselling and has been able to use his new skills to\nhelp those affected by the civil war in his country.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n
