Two of its movements \u2013 Ethiopia and Kenya \u2013 have more than 45,000 students. But there are challenges too: corruption, social injustice, political instability, poverty, and terrorism are everyday concerns for many students, as well as for their society at large. Students need wisdom and courage to live distinctively in this context.   IFES has established the Institute of Staff Development and Training to support staff as they work to help vast numbers of students navigate these challenges. Staff often step into leadership positions with little experience or training. This eight-week program provides intensive theological study combined with practical, contextualised ministry training to help them better serve their students.
